Chicago Anyone?

What do you do when you have 4 day weekends? Mini vacations/road trips you say, well that is exactly what we did. But we did it in one day! I know what you're thinking...it's true we are crazy. But boy did we have fun! Ez was so excited to go see the "shawks, fushies, Nemo, and opatusies in Icago." Little did he know he was also going to be able to see "pancake fushies, sea dwagons, and water doggies (otters)." He still asks to go to "Icago" and see all the "fushies."

We only had a few hours to do our mini tour but we made the best of it. We went to Shedd Aquarium, Soldier Field, Grant Park, and Lake Michigan. So I think all in all we had a successful trip. When we got home Ez cried because he wanted to go on a drive. What!!! Are you kidding, what 2 year old asks to go on drive after already being in the car for 8 hours that day. (It snowed so the drive was longer then we planned.) He is quite the traveler!

The Countdown Begins!

For FHE we made a big countdown chain to Dave's graduation. (The chain started with 172 days.) Of course along the way we have lots to look forward to. For example; baby sister, holidays, visitors, finals, last semester of Law school and lots more. You know all the good and important stuff. We look forward to ripping off a link each day.

Not a Whole lot going on.

Its true, there hasn't been much going on around our house. But Ez loves taking a bath and coloring with his new cool bath crayons. This is the hair do Dave gave him, Ez thought it was pretty funny.

We'll have to get out and do something so we have something to blog about, sorry about the lameness. But for sure enjoy the picture.

Happy Halloween!!!!

WoW, what a fun day we had! We started off Trick-or-Treating downtown Ann Arbor. Later that night we had 3 parties. We went and had hot dogs at the complex. Then ate some seriously awesome chili, then hit up some games. It was quite the night.

Ez had 2 saying he loved to say;
"Happy Halloween" he actually pronounces this really well.
"Trick or Tweat" he says this anytime he wants a treat now.
