This is how you'll find Evey a lot! I am sure many of you have received a random text message from me. Well its actually Evey sharing the love.

Christmas Morning!

Ezra and Evey actually woke up early and were very anxious to find out what Santa brought them. We had Christmas at our house then went to Lala & Poppi's and then to Nona & Pa's. Christmas was pretty awesome. We really go to enjoy ourselves.

I unfortunately didn't get many pictures of Christmas Eve. But I did get at least one of each kid. Love my kiddos and their cute Christmas PJs.

The nursery down the street had a Christmas party with all the fixins.' Santa Claus, Reindeer, Cookies/Hot Chocolate, Hay Rides, and a Christmas craft. The kids loved it. Well except Evey wasn't to big of a fan of Santa. But it was fun to get in the Christmas spirit.

We're always looking for fun things to do with cousins. We decided to decorate sugar cookies. The kids LOVED it! The more goodies on top the better.

Kiddo Tree

Every year we put up the kids tree. This was Dave and I's first Christmas tree. We used it for our family tree for the first 3 years of our marriage. Now its used for the kids tree. Ezra has always enjoyed and this year Evey was just as excited. They got to decorate it all by themselves. Dave joked around saying that I wouldn't be able to resist straightening the ornaments and de-clustering them. But I'm proud to report I never once changed a thing. I loved it just the way it is.

Traditions Carried on.

We've LOVE traditions. Here is our "real" Christmas tree. While growing up one of the traditions I remember was the annual "fight." My Mom and Dad had a "discussion" about the lights on the tree and if the tree was straight. I love thinking about the holidays way back then. When I think of Christmas I think of pistachios, Christmas candy, Temple Square, Christmas Eve PJs.

There was always a Santa boot of pistachios on the fireplace.

Mom got together with my aunts to make Christmas candy. I remember pretending to be sick at school so I could go home while they were making candy.

We went to Temple Square every year. We'd do the same thing. Eat dinner at JBs get our "present" hat and gloves. Then we'd go get our pictures taken in the booth in the toy/magic store then head over to the lights. I love it!

Every Christmas Eve my mom would get us matching PJs. Every year they were different. I remember a big Tshirt with our names puff painted on them. Sweats with our nicknames printed on the sleeve. I hope my kids enjoy these traditions as much as I do.

Giving Thanks!

How grateful am I for my family. Nothing makes me more happy then these 4 people. We our happy with where we are now. Just the 5 of us doing our thing.

Finish Hat

Ole @ 2 weeks

My friends gave Ole this super cute hat. Their mom made it for him. Their mom is from Finland and this is the kind of hat they wear around there. The cool thing is that my Dad served his mission in Finland. So its kind of fun to have a Finish touch. :)
