Oh the warmth...

The weather has been so nice the last 2 days. I am talking great numbers like 58 and 70!!! Yes it is true it got up to 70 today. Well don't you for one minute think we didn't take advantage of it. We spent lots of time outside. Ez ran around lots and loved the nature walk we went on. He got to see and touch his first snake. I don't know who was more excited about it Dave or Ez. It is so fun to see their "firsts." Being a parent is beyond the best. While we were walking Ez carried around a furry caterpillar. He kept talking to it saying things like; "does that tickle?" "You a butterfly," and "Don't be scared." What a cute boy.

Ms. Evey

Evey is 1 Month Old!

Here are a few pictures I took of her. I just adore her cuteness. And yes she looks a lot like our little Ez. But what can I say we just have cute kids.

Gnocchis

Dave has been wanting to make Gnocchis for a long time. So I finally gave in. Here are pictures of proof that he did it all on his own. Believe me it is quite the process.

*Peel potatoes
*Boil potatoes
*Mash potatoes
*Add flour, egg, milk, water
*Add lots more flour
*Add even more flour
*Knead into dough
*Roll into dough snakes
*Cut 1 inch pieces
*Roll down a fork
*Boil
*Scoop out cooked gnocchis
*Add red sauce and cheese
*Enjoy

Big Brother Love at 4 weeks.

I can't believe that Evey is 4 weeks old! It has gone by way too fast. She is most definitely getting big and no longer has the tiny little newborn look. Evey is a very good natured baby. Not to mention she eats and sleeps great.

Ez is adjusting very well to having a new baby around. He is always willing to run little errands for Mom and give loves. His new obsession is his octopus hair. He shakes head to make his hair twist. Its pretty funny. We've been trying to convince him that he should cut his hair but he is not having it. He says he likes long hair.
