Hail To The Victors!

I have a great story. Yesterday Michigan played Wisconsin at home in the Big House. Thanks to my good friends Bret and James, I have awesome seats in the front row on about the 20 yard line. We were feeling a little depressed around halftime while we were down 19-0 and had gained only 21 total yards on offense. For those who haven't heard, we turned things around and had our greatest comeback at the Big House and beat the Badgers 27-25. After the game I *was invited* down on the field to celebrate the awesome win. The team ran to corner of the end zone near the student section to sing the fight song. I was there singing along and I turned around to notice a bunch of people running towards me. It was Coach Rodriguez followed by a bunch of media. He stood right next to me and we sang both sang "The Victors". Here is proof:See that face obscured by his raised Victors fist? Yeah that is me. What? You don't believe me? That could be anyone in the official game shirt, you say? Well then believe this:


Look, right there behind his hat. It's me singing along with Coach Rod, or Uncle Roddy as his close friends--like me, now that I have stood next to him during The Victors--call him. Thanks for the win Uncle Roddy!!

The story doesn't end there. After soaking up the win, Bret and I were walking down the steps of the stadium when Bret suddenly stopped and pointed up the stairs. Michigan's old head coach, Lloyd Carr, was walking down right behind us. He shook our hands and exchanged comments on the great game. He then told Brett he loved his make-up (giant block M in blue across his whole face). Classic comeback win and two coaches in one day. And to top it off, I got a free Monster Energy Drink while walking around downtown.

Family Picnic

This year Dave has 4 day weekends. And the 3 of us can't get enough time together. We love going on adventures and playing outside. So on Saturday we went on a a picnic to the park. I think Ez and Sammy (our dog) loved it the most.

Fall is definetely around the corner and we can' t wait to do all the fun fall stuff, you know the good stuff: picking apples, caramel apples, leaves changing, hay rides, pumpkin picking, etc. I get so excited when I think of Ann Arbor Falls!

Picking Berries.

Ez and I are always trying to find fun things to do outside. Last week we were able to go pick berries, and Ez absolutely loved it. It was all he could eat berries and all he could play in dirt.

Like Father, Like Son.

Ez's love for music is definitely from his dad. The 2 of them will spend hours dancing, head banging, air guitaring, and singing. Its so fun to watch them dance around together. This is what I walked in on yesterday. I love that they love music so much.

4 Years and Counting...

Happy 4 Years to us!!! Its true Dave and I have been married for 4 years! It has gone by so fast. Maybe because it has been so eventful. Lets be honest, those of you who know us, know there is never a dull moment. Here are just a few highlights from the last 4 spectacular years.

*1 year of undergrad.
*3 months jobless.
*Got into Law School.
*Having our first little boy, Ezra.
*Sleepovers under the stars.
*Moved 5 states away from our stomping grounds.
*Lived in 2 apartments, lived with both parents, and grandma.
*Traveled coast to coast in one summer-by car.
*Found we our expecting baby #2- It's a Girl.
*Countless hours on mini road trips.

These are just a few of the things we've done together. I've had so much fun being married to my best friend. I truly couldn't ask for a better guy. Yes we have are downs and we don't have everything in common. But, we have lots of fun together and we can always make each other laugh. Dave I just want to say Thanks for giving me a life I couldn't have dreamed of and always being my rock :) You've been so supportive during the last 4 sick, emotional, and mood swinging months. I love you Babe!
