Happy Birthday Ryah!

1- Ezra decorating cupcakes. He loved it!

2- Ezra & Hunter decorating. Ezra watched everything Hunter did. He felt like such a big boy.

3- Ryah, Hunter, & Ezra. Ezra loved the frosting, he licked that knife clean.

4- Did someone say chocolate cupcakes?! I think Ez found his new favorite treat.

This is Ezra at Ryah's birthday party. Ryah is now 2 and Ez absolutely adores her. She is his future girlfriend. They go to nursery together, play at play groups, and when their parents make them endure long nights of hanging out. They love playing together.

Toy Box

Here is a better picture of Ezra. He is quite the adventurer!



RicAnn and I were both busy working and Ez was busy reading his books in his room. Ez started laughing and yelling to get our attention, so we went in his bedroom and he had emptied out his toy box crawled in. I don't know how he did it without banging his head or landing on his face, but he thought it was funny. I thought it was cute enough to post, maybe its one of those "you had to be there" things, but whatever the case - enjoy.

Playtime

This is Ezra playing at the playground at our complex. He loves being outside and this is his new favorite spot. When I went to put him in his stroller to leave he threw the biggest fit! I've never seen him act like this. He was kicking his feet, screaming, arching his back, you know all the good stuff. He is starting to gets so much attitude it is making things more fun and eventful!

We never got to meet these neighboors.

Drugs, guns seized in raid of home

Police seized drugs and several weapons during a raid at a home in Pittsfield Township on Thursday morning, officials said.

Officers with the Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team raided a home in the 4800 block of Packard Road just before 8 a.m. They found about two pounds of marijuana, a small amount of crack cocaine and 80 tablets of suspected Ecstasy, said Lt. Garth Burnside, LAWNET commander.

They also seized five handguns and two long guns, including an assault rifle.

Two men inside the home, 18 and 19 years of age, were arrested and released pending formal charges.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence based on information developed in an ongoing investigation. The emergency support team was called in due to concerns about weapons in the home.

The Arb

We love the Arb. On Sundays we like going on walks along the river. Ezra loves the water, trees, and rocks. It is so nice to have such fun places to go just a short 5 mins. away from home. It's Great to be able to enjoy at least one full day with the 3 of us!

So Independent.

Ezra is starting to feel more confident in his standing, which only means one thing....He's into everything! He is starting to stand on his own. He pulls himself up on everything and if there is something on it to throw Ez gets the job done. He loves reading. He'll sit in his books and read to himself for really hours of the day. He is growing up so fast! This week Ez and I tried going to one of Dave's classes, we only lasted about 3 mins. then Ez let out 2 high pitched squeals so we made a dash for it.

The BIG House!

There is nothing quite like a game in the Big House with over 111,000 people in maize (that is yellow for you non-Wolverines) in attendance! It was crazy. It was tons of fun! Michigan stomped Notre Dame they had only 3 yards at half time. There is only one more thing to say...GO BLUE!!!!!

Lucky Michigan Outfit.

I'm excited to say that we finally found the "Lucky Michigan" outfit. Yesterday before the game the 3 of us went to Target and found this. Dave and I headed to the game and Ez went to go play with his cousins. Just in case some of you didn't hear we won 38-0 over Notre Dame. GO BIG BLUE! Thanks for your luck Ezzy!

I know why Michigan lost...

Last year Michigan went 11-2 and they started this season 0-1. They have lost three in a row. There is a pattern. For the first 11 games of the season last year, Ez wore his lucky Michigan Wolverines outfit. He grew out of it before the last two games and we still haven't bought him a new one. RicAnn is on her way to get him a new outfit before kickoff today at 3:30 our time. Watch out Oregon!

Ezra the Great

I never thought having a one year old could be so much fun! Ezra is now trying to say multiple words, crawling all over (He's a fast little bugger), identifying body parts (nose, head, tongue...). He absolutely adores Dave. Every time he hears the front door open he crawls as fast as he can while yelling Daddy, Daddy, Daddy! It's too cute.
